Over the three days of informative and interactive sessions, participants discussed the evolving global trends in corporate governance and the implications of such trends to the Caribbean region. The conference also provided the basis for the establishment of a regional network to exchange information and experiences.
The Caribbean Corporate Governance Forum (CCGF) established as a result of this conference, is now serving as the launching pad for several follow on initiatives in the region. The Caribbean Technical Working Group (CTWG), a technical advisory group formed at the conference, serves as the implementer of corporate governance initiatives in the region. The CTWG works under the auspices of the CCGF.
